Suffolk New Build

Sketches and initial plans for a new build project we are currently working on in rural Suffolk. The aim here is to present the road facing elevation as a modest ‘traditional’ style cottage, which then opens up into a more ‘contemporary’ living space as you progress through the home.

Fresh Lick Of Paint

Even changing something as relatively simple as the colour of paint on your listed building will likely require consent from you friendly local building authority.

Here’s a quick rendering completed earlier today to accompany a listed building application for exactly that.

Original Photo
Photo taken on site – Weary DIY store paint.
Original WC
Rendering of the existing – Provides a blank canvas
Grey WC
Rendering of the proposed. Traditional yet contemporary greys, white and silvered oak provided by Farrow&Balls ‘plummet’ and ‘off black’ exterior paints and the homes existing timber door. In our opinion it compliments the building and its red brick boundary very nicely, as well as well as really ‘popping’ against the greens of the surrounding landscape.
