Sketches and initial plans for a new build project we are currently working on in rural Suffolk. The aim here is to present the road facing elevation as a modest ‘traditional’ style cottage, which then opens up into a more ‘contemporary’ living space as you progress through the home.

Even changing something as relatively simple as the colour of paint on your listed building will likely require consent from you friendly local building authority.

Here’s a quick rendering completed earlier today to accompany a listed building application for exactly that.

Taking a look at a completed project from late last year (construction finished in October 2018). The build didn’t go exactly to plan, with an estimate 14 week build time coming in closer to 24. But most importantly, the client is very happy with the result and so are we.
