Over the last few months we have been in discussion with the Local Planning Authority in regard to a modest new build family home we have been appointed to design. Outline planning has been granted, but there is a little contention over the ridge height.
Here’s the proposals which will be heading to the LPA over the coming week.

We were recently instructed by a client looking to build a new family home on a split plot in rural Essex outside of Colchester.
Here is our initial proposal in the process of being submitted to the LPA for some pre-application feedback.

Late last week we received planning permission for an exciting new build project in rural Suffolk. Now on to the construction drawings!

A few photos taken on site last week from one of our current rural projects. We’re really happy with the progress being made and cant wait to see the glazing in place.
A few snaps from site last week, when it wasn’t raining…
The project incorporates a Class Q conversion of an existing agricultural barn. As part of Class Q the existing frame must be retained. So we have decided not only to retain the existing steel work but to show it off, making it a prominent part of the internal space.
After much consultation and negotiation, CWL has gained permission for the redecoration of a grade II listed home in rural Essex utilising Farrow & Ball, Manor House Gray No.265 for the Render etc and Farrow & Ball, Off Black No.57 for the Fenestration and Timber Work.
